After SmartConnect automatically updated the firmware of my Smart-UPS SMT1500I, the UPS permanently reports 0W / 0VA / 0A / 0% load on the LCD and via USB HID. Before the firmware update the load values were correct. The UPS still powers the equipment and switches to battery normally. Factory reset and complete power removal (including battery disconnect) did not resolve the issue.
Model: Smart-UPS_1500
Firmware: UPS 18.0 / ID=1015

Complete the following action items in sequence and report the outcome.
Brain Dead: Complete this procedure three times as outlined in this APC FAQ:
https://www.se.com/ca/en/faqs/FA156611/
Date: Update the battery installation date via LCD, NMC, Power Chute. If the system incorporates a NMC insure the date and time is correct along with DST if applicable.
Self Test: Manually initiate a self test via the following methods LCD, NMC, Power Chute and let pass.
Calibration: Manually initiate a battery calibration with a minimum of 30% connected load or higher via LCD, NMC, Power Chute.
Once complete allow the RBC to fully charge to 100% SOC. Report the final outcome and provide the following logs for review: Event, Data, UPS, Diagnostics
Power Chute logs can be obtained following this APC Resource Link:

If the system incorporates a NMC you may retrieve the logs following the steps below:
NMC: About -> Support-> Technical Support Debug -> Generate Logs -> Download.

I have already completed the Brain Dead procedure several times, performed a Factory Reset, and fully disconnected AC power and the battery. The UPS still reports 0W / 0VA / 0A / 0% on the LCD while powering a server and monitor correctly.
Since the UPS reports 0% load, I am unable to satisfy the 30% load requirement for a runtime calibration because the UPS does not detect any connected load.

As noted in my initial post all of the action items posted should be completed in sequence.
NOTE: If the system indicates the 30% minimum connected load has not been satisfied by indicating a calibration failure.
You may remove AC Mains from the wall outlet and let the system automatically drain and shutdown.
Any cables connecting to a computer / network relating to APC Power Chute Software must be disconnected during this scheduled maintenance window.
You will connect any resistive load to satisfy the 30% minimum load or (Higher) whether it be a load center, heater, fan, etc.
