Hi, I know this product is rather old but I am trying to figure out if the unit is dead or not:

it is a UPB80
I've had it since 2008

however today while attempting to charge the unit after 6 months of hibernation upon connecting the power cable to the unit it flashes all blue for a short moment then thats it. I have had it plugged in for 7 hours to charge but none of the LEDs light, no amber or blue.

I've removed the plug and reset the dial to attempt a reset and charge but again, all leds flash blue upon connection and nothing after.

Since this product line has since been discontinued I am hoping to save this unit, I has been a life saver while working in the field
