Have you completed all the required RBC installation procedures and (Action Items)?!?!
If not complete the following in sequence and report the final outcome. Ensure the RBC is at 100% SOC (State of Charge) before any action item is initiated! ☝️
Date: Update the RBC installation date via the following methods if available: LCD, NMC, Power Chute. Doing so resets all internal counters and adjusts charging tables if applicable.
Self Test: Manually initiate a self test via LCD, NMC, Power Chute and let pass. Allow the RBC to recover 100% SOC.
Calibration: This procedure will need to be scheduled during a maintenance window to reduce the impact on the business.
Manually initiate a battery calibration via LCD, NMC, Power Chute with a minimum of 30% connected load or higher. This procedure will help the system learn the current state of health of the new RBC.
Once the procedure has been completed it will help better reflect the current operational runtime via LCD, NMC, Power Chute.
Allow the RBC to fully charge to 100% SOC.
Document: Mark the new installation date physically on the face of the RBC Cartridge housing, along with self test, calibration date.
Smart Connect: The new RBC Installation Date will be updated once the service has polled the unit within the next 24 hours.
