SMT3000RM2UC Communication Loss

I've rebooted, unplugged and replugged Ethernet cable and reset.

Next to communication loss there are two warnings:

Standard plan expired and battery replacement due.

I don't think the two are related to communication loss.

Please confirm. Thank you.

Also note if the device is on the first release of UPS firmware an update may help resolve the Smart Connect communication issue. As the next several releases addressed new encryption and protocols in the communication path.

Keep in mind the UPS Firmware must be done while the hardware is (under warranty) and live over the phone with APC Technical Support.

Failure to understand and follow this guidance can and will result in a very expensive paper weight!
