In the interim you may also connect your Mac using the native USB power management drivers to provide a graceful shutdown of the system.

If you’re looking for more features through software you may consider installing NUT on to a computer system or target Mac depending upon environment and use case.

If this is was a SMT, SMX, SRT Series UPS with a Smart Slot. You could forego any of this ridiculous cloud first and install a NMC for local first control, management, and communications.
