How do I reset the date from the front panel on an Smart UPS SMX1000C? I replaced the batteries. I can see the date in the configuration menu, but it will not give an option to change the date. I am not able to connect to it with a computer because I don't have one.

Disconnect the Anderson battery connector from the RBC. Wait for the system to declare a battery fault and wait another ten seconds.
Reconnect the Anderson battery connector and you should see the LCD prompt you to confirm if this is a new RBC.
Toggle from No to Yes then enter the month and year and hit save / enter.
Complete the process by manually initiating a self test and let pass and RBC return to 100% charge.
Finalize by manually initiating a battery calibration with a minimum of 30% attached load or more. Allow the process to complete and the RBC to recover to 100% (SOC) State of Charge.
This will allow the system to learn the current battery health and better reflect the operational runtime on the LCD, NMC, Power Chute, Smart Connect.
