PCPE 3.0 complete removal instructions for Windows 7
I installed PCPE 3.0 on my new WIn 7 machine. It disables the Win7 native battery icon and I cannot get it back. I uninstalled PCPE, BUT apcsystray.exe still appears in the icon notification list. (See icons on system tray - customize). I have tried uninstalling the APC entries in the Battery and HID entries in the Device Manager, but this does not correct the problem. I received some instructions for removing the registry entries from Ron Joseph), but I could not find ANY registry entries in the locations described in the instructions he sent. The only entries I could find were under Trace and EventLog (res.dll) in the Registry.
Could you please help me I want to return to the WIndows native battery support icon and suspect I need a complete set of manual removal instructions. .
