I need a replacement battery for a BN575G.  This model is not listed on the battery replacement page.

What is a supported replacement for this model, and where can I find it?

The official battery replacement is listed as APC RBC110 as seen here:

You may purchase any 12 VDC cell with the same outer dimensions as this is a very common size.

Your specific battery is a 7AH rated cell but would humbly suggest you upgrade to a 9AH cell for longer operational runtime.

Just like that? Are you sure that the ratings of electronic components, wires cross-section, charging logic, etc. are intended for 9 Ah?

Yes replacing the original 7 AH RBC with a 9 ~ 10 amp hour cell will provide longer operational runtime during a grid down / lights out event.

This is done by every major UPS maker in the world. 

This doesn’t change anything in the APC UPS as to how it operates, charges, or reacts to an outage.

No internal wires will see more current as nothing has changed as this is all managed by the system.

The system will simply run longer because the RBC has more capacity! The important steps when replacing any RBC is updating the installation date if available as this resets internal counters and adjusts charging tables.

Next, manually initiating a self test and letting it pass and RBC to recover. Followed by manually initiating a Battery Calibration with a minimum of 30% load.

Once this procedure is completed the displayed operational runtime will be more accurately reflected on the LCD, PCSS, SNMP.

Here in August 2026 and that link does not work anymore.   surprising, given that the original poster mentioned that the model wasn't in the replacement part page. was it really so hard to just put the dimensions in that comment so the "next person" wouldn't have to go crawling the internet to find them when the website inevitably gets reorganized?  Link rot is real, and it stinks.  I'm only asking because the battery in my BN575G shows signs of swelling (plastic case is cracked and bowing outwards), so measuring it for dimensions is probably going to give a bad answer.  And yeah, I know that I need to immediately dispose of any battery that is swelling!  My measurements are just under six inches wide by just over two and a half inches deep by just under three and three-quarters inches high for just the casing, though the terminals make the total height just under four and a quarter inches. Why the spelled out and approximate numbers?  I'm trying to prevent any AI crawler from spreading what I know aren't reliable measurements, since I did find this thread through one of them.

Don't know if this is helpful, but the spec sheet (I can't link it, I can tell the link I have will expire) for an RBC17 lists it as 9Ah, 12 volt, and very similar if not identical dimensions to the battery from my BN575G.  I'd assume it's a good drop-in replacement, right?

Regardless, as stated more than two years ago this model UPS and many more uses a standard off the shelf 7AH cell.

Which as of 2026 comes in various capacities that range from 7 ~ 10 AH. The physical dimensions are these keeping in mind different brands of cell makers there will be a variance but not so much that it won’t fit a standard housing:

(5.94 x 2.56 x 3.74) inches

A APC RBC17 will fit and work just fine for your application.
