Does APC UPS BE525 software Available?

Hello,

I will to check if my APC UPS BE525 software is Available? Besides monitoring the status, I will also use it to shut down my computer in the event of a power trip?

and also ined my UPS always on as long as possible .

HI,

If the UPS is a BE525-AS then it is a simple signaling UPS. It shipped with cable 940-0119 that is 9 pin serial to RJ45. Simple signaling is the recognition of whether certain pins of the serial port are high or low, and allows for 3 states only; on battery, low battery, and UPS turn off.

The BE525-AS was designed to communicate with PowerChute Plus. PowerChute Plus was discontinued in 2007 so, I recommend using APCUPSD with that mode UPS.

but i can not conect my ups to my windows.
