I have an APC 600. I also have a Brother laser printer plugged into a DIFFERENT outlet but on the same circuit. Every time I print something the UPC turns off and beeps! What is the solution to stop the insanity? Thanks

Provide a few photos of the setup and a short video of this problem happening. How old is the APC 600 UPS and when was the last time the RBC (Replacement Battery Cartridge) been replaced?!?!
As the RBC is rated to provide 2-5 years of service life based on usage, temperature, and environmental conditions.
The internal cells that make up the RBC is designed to sustain 260 cycles subjected to the same caveats.
As a sanity check simply remove AC Mains Power from the wall outlet and report what you observe.
The possibilities are the following in likelihood:
- System will turn off immediately and drop the connected load. This indicates the RBC is EOL and needs to be replaced.
- System will alert that AC Mains is missing and run on battery only power for a very limited time than shutdown and drop the connected load. If that is the case the RBC also needs to be replaced.
NOTE: If the unit supports APC Power Chute Software (PCSS / PCPE) than provide the following logs for review: Event, Data, UPS, Diagnostic.
The system will indicate the last battery installation date. It will also call out any active faults / error codes. It will also show you basic information about the line voltage, battery temperature, battery charge level (capacity), and current float voltage.

Thank you for your reply. I just put in a new battery and everything works fine except this one situation. It is very simply. My Brother printer is plugged into one electrical outlet in the room and the APC 600 is plugged into a different outlet in the room. When I print something the APC beeps and shuts off. I have to reset it and then it works find again. Why would a "load" on a different outlet, same breaker circuit, cause the APC to freak out? Is there some way to "shield" the printer or the APC so it doesn't cause this problem?

You’ll need to provide a lot more information starting with the logs from APC Power Chute: Event, Data, UPS, Diagnostics.
Complete the following action item and report the outcome. Remove AC Power from the wall outlet and report the behaviour.
The expected result is the units LED and beeper will activate. Confirm the status LED / Beeper match the manual’s indicators. The unit should continue to operate for a period of time based on the current load from minutes to hours so reference the APC Runtime Calculator to see if the operational runtime is sufficient vs below the expected time period.
If removing AC Power causes the unit to shutdown immediately than the RBC needs to be replaced.
