Purchased a new BN450M 1 week ago. Have let it charge for 4 days and checked output voltage with a verified voltage meter. When checked with UPS receiving 120 volts, it shows 120 volts out. If you unplug input power to simulate outage, output voltage drops to no more than 90 volts. Is this unit defective or am I missing something>

The UPS when on battery outputs a square wave voltage. According to the online information.
The users manual says Step Approximated Sine Wave in the trouble shooting page. Also says 115VAC +-8%
The meter maybe reading the voltage wrong. As it is not a Sine Wave like the wall power is. The meter is designed to read.
