APC smart-UPS 1500 VA

Hi,

I have APC smart-UPS 1500 VA

And i am facing a problem with this unit.

Which is,

Some times upon power outage the UPS doesn't go to battery mode and shut off the connected output load.

On Battery indicator off.

While battery charging is full and it shows all 5 battery charging indicators lit.

When utility power is restored, the UPS turns on the connected load and switch ches back to online mode.

I have installed new batteries but this problem is still there.

Also check DC circuit wiring inside UPS

You’ll need to provide the serial number, UPS SKU, and Event / Data Logs from the unit.

The logs can be obtained via NMC, Power Chute, LCD if available or present.

In the interim the following action items should be completed in sequence:

Brain Dead: https://www.se.com/us/en/faqs/FA156611/

Install Date: The battery installation date must be updated using the following methods if available: LCD, NMC, Power Chute. Doing so resets internal counters and adjusts charging tables if applicable.

Self Test: Manually initiate a self test and let pass via the following methods if available or present: LCD, NMC, Power Chute. Let pass and allow the RBC to recover back to 100% SOC (State of Charge).

Calibration: Manually initiate a battery calibration via LCD, NMC, Power Chute with a minimum of 30% connected load or higher.

Allow this procedure to complete and RBC to return to 100% SOC. This procedure will help the system learn the current battery health and better reflect the operational runtime via LCD, LED, NMC, NMS, Power Chute.
