APC SmartUPS1000 LED lights - what does this combination mean?

Hi, Newbie here. I have an APC SmartUPS 1000  supplyting my large home Synology NAS and recently it started beeping rapidly. The column of green LEDs on the right hand side all showed green, but the bottom LED in the centre just sbove the battery icon showed red. got this UPS a couple of years ago from a client after she closed her business, and I did carefully and successfully replace both batteries  with new ones, following some instructions I found online at the time. it's been running faultlessly ever since, but a couple of weeks ago it started beeping rapidly, which makes me think that I may need to replace the batteries again. I shut the UPS down and left it plugged in for 48 hours before switching it back on again, it seems to be working fine now with no lights as before Can anyone tell me the exact issue from the description and attached photo? (taken when it was beeping) I haven't managed to find an online manual for this exact model yet but think I'm on the right track with the LED Indicators

Given the limited information provided here I would suggest you connect the unit to a computer running APC Power Chute Software and report back the active faults / errors are present codes.

You may use this APC Resource Link to download the EOL v3.1.0 PCPE here:

https://www.apc.com/ca/en/download/document/APC_PCPE_310/

Based on the loose description it may very well be the RBC. Show me a photo of the front and back of the system that indicates the UPS SKU and LCD / LED indicators.
