APC Smart UPS Model: SMT1000IC - Wrong Battery Installation Date
Hi,
I recently purchased and installed a SMT1000IC UPS and when selecting the battery installation date accidentally selected the wrong date. Is there a way to reset it. I have tried to disconnect the power, and the battery at the back holding the power button for 30 seconds and turning it back on and then running the set up wizard again but the wizard does not give me the option to change the date again?

There are three possible options depending upon your current environment and setup.
LCD Menu: Disconnect the Anderson connector from the RBC. Wait for the system to declare a battery fault and wait another ten seconds. Then, reconnect the Anderson connector and the system will prompt you to confirm this is a new RBC. Toggle from No to Yes than enter the correct month and year.
NMC: If the unit has an embedded or add on NMC via the Smart Slot. You can login to the NMC and navigate to Configuration -> UPS -> Last Battery Replacement -> Enter Month / Year.
Power Chute: If the APC Power Chute Software (PCSS, PCBE, PCPE) is installed simply navigate to the UPS tab and enter the month and year.
