my 1mo old APC BX1100C-IN was working flawlessly until today, it does not give power at all now, the charge light indicator works when I unplug and plug back in, fan makes noise, but the power on indicator is dead, the led does not illuminate at all.
I have tried everything, resetting pluging it off ac and it auto shutsdown, but when I plug ac again same issue, no power output and no led indicator. I have pressed the circuit breaker too and nothing happens.
long pressing the power button makes a long beep sound for 7sec and nothing else happens.

okay seems like, it started working normally now, there was a brownout (low voltage from the grid/mains). now mains is stable and the UPS is working again.
its strange why it didnt work under low voltage? shouldnt it shift to battery mode and regulate the voltage?

You may consider completing a brain dead reset following this resource link:
https://www.se.com/hk/en/faqs/FA158947/
If the problem is (NOT) solved by a brain dead reset I suggest you contact APC Technical Support in India. Have ready the serial number purchase receipt and brief description of the problem.
Let me know how everything turns out and what they do to resolve the issue besides a RMA.

yup I had tried the brain dead rest, still had'nt worked, but its working now. seems like twas a low voltage issue from the grid, there was a brownout and thats when this problem was persistent, now its back to normal and works correctly.
what boggles me is that the UPS did not work as intended, isnt it supposed to regulate the low voltage and work properly and not give me a scare like this

I suggest you contact APC Technical Support to validate the system is working as designed.
Based on your feedback it obviously isn’t working properly. You can perform a simple test now and report back the results.
Remove AC Mains from the wall outlet. The system should immediately switch to battery only mode and the unit should beep and display the loss of AC Mains on the front LED.
Does that happen? If it does how long does the unit operate for? Keeping in mind if the system is fully loaded the operation runtime won’t be very long.
What is the total connected load on the system?
NOTE: The sales link for your specific model UPS indicates it supports APC Power Chute Software (PCSS). If it does connect the system to a computer running the software and report back what the logs show when you complete the simulated grid down / power loss event test.

it works normally now, when I disconnected the plug off mains it switched to battery correctly and all the connected devices did not experience any fluctuations.
its operating correctly, I tested for about 10min and the power from the ups is still working and beeping, plugged it back in after 10min.
load is a 2k monitor, a 100W charger connected to a Mac, and a PS5, not sure how much load it takes at a given moment.
I will look into the PCSS thing you mentioned and get back, although its working normally now, the brownout caused something unexpected ig, is it possible that if the mains is fully down it works correctly, but if mains is on, but its running on low voltage / single phase, it does something weird and thinks the mains is working and does not require the use of the battery ?

The APC product page indicates your specific unit incorporates the AVR circuit.
As such if the user defined setting is within that limit it should (buck / boost) the input voltage coming from the wall outlet.
Typically you can read the user manual to adjust the AVR circuit or use the APC Power Chute (PCSS) Software to do the same (IF) the USB port is available and present on the rear of the unit.
For whatever reason your specific unit doesn’t show any USB port yet the main page indicates PCSS is available for use?!?! 🤦♂️
The user manual also doesn’t indicate you have the ability to define the power quality, sensitivity, or AVR circuit.
I have to gather this series of APC Back-UPS are literally the bottom of the barrel hardware SE / APC makes. 🤢
