the attached screenshot says it all...
I have not had 7 days worth of outages.
I did a self test and it says it's fine....
is my ups ok? or is it the software that's a little wonky?
thank you very much for your assistance!

its 3.0.0.1
also if there is no way to reset the data would you please pass the suggestion to the developers of the software to include that in the next version?
That would be excellent!

silly question but hear me out - may i ask how you have not had 7 days of outages within a 4 week timeframe? keep in mind it can transfer to battery in the middle of the night or for power fluctuations, not necessarily when the power goes out completely.

I've had the unit since dec 19th.
if this is really true then we have more power events then I thought!
but the thing is if the outage happened my husband's computer is not on a UPS and it was still on.
wierd....
I never thought our power quality was that bad though. I have it at medium sensitivity
voltages are set up at 88 at the low end and 139 on the high end.
I just really wanna make sure this is not a bug in the software.
Thank you very much for the reply!

ahh i see..can you reset the data and see if it does it again? if so, then we look further. i agree, it seems unlikely that if you have another computer that doesnt turn off, your UPS probably didnt go to battery but it could be possible if the voltage just dipped low and your UPS went on battery to get you closer to 120v versus a lower value of 75 or something. some PC power supplies might be able to handle the lower voltage and not turn off - i am not 100% sure.

how do i reset the data?
do I shut down the service and delete the log file? or can I just stop the datasrv.exe process and delete the log file?

honestly, i didnt look and thought there was an option to reset the data.
also, datasrv is the process that deals with energy usage. what version of PCPE are you using? this would be listed under the About section on the left - we fixed some "noisy drive" issues in 3.0.0.1 so if you are using 3.0, we can try 3.0.0.1 to see if that is what you are hearing. if you have to upgrade to 3.0.0.1, that will reset the data. if not, let me know and ill see if there is any other way to manually reset the data. i honestly thought there was a button to clear it, my apologies.
