It’s not clear to me as to what firmware you updated whether it be UPS Firmware or NMC Firmware?!?!
If NMC Firmware was updated confirm the NMC hardware model in place and firmware before the upgrade.
Provide a link to the new NMC Firmware that was loaded into the system for review.

Hello,
I don't remember the details—it was back in January—but the banner displayed:
Firmware update
How can I find out what I updated?
Thank you

How about you provide a photo of the NMC in question as a starter. If the NMC shows online and can be pinged.
You can try to connect to the NMC via SSH to view the details in the CLI.
