Temperature Probe Not Detected?

Hi, i installed a APC RT-1500, with the environmental monitoring card and a temperature probe. I have the UPS connect via usb to my machine. I have installed PowerChute Business Edition Basic. the software sees the ups attached to my pc, however i dont see anywhere about the temperature probe that i purchased. i did however notice a column that i can add named "Env Monitor" but it states "not attached".

does anyone have any suggestions? am i simply missing something?

is the environmental monitoring card the AP9612TH? what temperature probe do you have plugged into it? can you send a screenshot of what you DO see in the PCBE basic interface?

hmm i dont think anything else is required. i assume you have reseated the probe. do you have another probe to test? you could also try reseating the AP9612TH. i dont think you're doing anything wrong though if you at least see the environmental section in the web interface.

for some reason my attachment isnt showing up. i browsed for it, i hit post message, it uploads, i dont see it on the board though!
