I have a Smart-UPS which is connected to a server running PowerChure via a USB cable, and now I would like to replace the server with a new one.
Is there any way to move the PowerChute installation without losing all the configuration, logs and events which would happen if I just installed it on the new one?
The data log exists in the file <agent path>\DataLog on Windows systems and <agent path>/DataLog on Unix/Linux systems. To export the event log, navigate to the Event Log screen in the PowerChute user interface (UI), and click Export. This will export the event log to a text file, EventLog.txt, which is located in the agent directory.
For the configuration you should run the setup wizard once the program has been installed to configure the new server.
