I have just replaced a very elderly Gamatronic UPS which worked <important information which for some reason I am not allowed to post. I hope the rest makes sense> up. USB lead to control servers, and network lead for comms to Schneider. I registered the UPS and updated the firmware to 18.0 remotely. Everything seemed fine. The house is on a PV system with its own inverter. Overnight, this lost its ability to read the information from the grid so as to know whether to charge or discharge its batteries and react to different prices from the grid as it normally does.
I cycled the router, which had no effect. I then disconnected the UPS network cable. Immediately, the house system recovered and is now working normally. I have also, not unexpectedly, received an alert from Scheider that the APS has lost communication. Otherwise everything is fine; the servers are still connected over USB and the UPS and PV system are both functioning.
Is this ia known issue, and if so, how do I stop it happening? If it isn't known, can a ticket be raised?
Note: I have no idea why the content about the replacement isn't allowed.

Based on the limited information I would gather you have a IP Conflict.

Thank you; I thought of that which is why I cycled the router. I have two static allocations which are set outside the DHCP range so can't be offered by the server. However, it has now been disconnected for a while so I have reconnected it to see if is better. I'll run wireshark up as well to see if that finds anything.
