Hello,
I recently installed my APC Smart-UPS SMT1500IC, but during the initial setup I accidentally pressed the wrong button and entered an incorrect installation date.
Since this date may be used for battery tracking or warranty information, I would like to correct it.
Could you please tell me:
If it is possible to change the installation date after the initial setup?
For information, the UPS is working normally and has just been installed.
Thank you for your help.

There are several options to complete this task based on the system environment and installed options in place.
The battery installation date can be changed via the NMC. You may use APC Power Chute (PCSS / PCBE) software.
You may launch the setup wizard again via the LCD Menu. Lastly, you can simply disconnect the RBC Anderson connector and wait for the system to declare a battery disconnected fault.
Wait another ten seconds then reconnect the RBC Anderson connector. The system will prompt you to confirm this is a new RBC.
Toggle from No to Yes than enter the month and year and select save / enter.

I am trying to attempt the same thing but after the new battery question, when I toggle from No to Yes and hit enter it doesn't give me the opportunity to enter a date.

Provide a photo of what you see once you hit enter on the LCD Menu.
Keep in mind you have the other options to complete the same which I outlined up above. Reply with the final outcome unlike the OP which never bothered to provide an update! 🤦♂️👎
