BR1000MS randomly shuts off
I've been having this issue since the early days of owning this unit, i bought it in July 2023 and ever since it randomly powers off just like if you hold the power button to turn it off causing everything that is connected to it to shut down too. However i noticed that this only happens once the voltage rises to 132v and the AVR kicks on, powering it back on shows no problem, it self tests as usual and unplugging it from the wall switches it to battery as normal. No errors on the screen, unfortunately this problem evolved where its shuts off like it did before but now the ups freezes and remains unresponsive until you disconnect and reconnect the battery, in this state there is no power output from the ups, but the power led button remains lit, unplugging it does nothing too, also for this kind of failure the voltage doesn't matter anymore, it can be normal when before there wasn't any issues, now there is. Battery is 3 years old tho, however that doesn't explain why this problem is present since i bought it.
Once done leave the UPS connected to the computer running PCSS for a minimum of three days (72) hours. Insure the software is defined and programmed to (NOT) shutdown the target computer system.
Screen capture the event & data tabs while performing the following action items:
Disconnect AC Mains from the wall outlet and verify PCSS reflects a loss of AC Power. Time how long the unit continues to operate for with the same loads attached.
Once the unit shuts down provide a screen capture of the event & data tabs. Download (export) the PCSS logs again and upload both logs for review.
Keep in mind the computer running PCSS should be powered by a separate outlet and (NOT) the UPS.
Once the UPS turns off reapply AC Mains Power and let the unit fully charge the RBC. Screen capture the event & data tabs and redownload the PCSS Logs for review.
