AP9630 NMC2 upgrade from 6.6.4 to 7.2.2 fails

I have a AP9630 NMC2 card and I downloaded the zip file apc_hw05_aos722_sumx722_bootmon109 and unzipped and then tried to upgrade via the utility.exe file. I get the following error message. 

[09/17/2026 14:56:51] Firmware distribution does not match target device platform; this could be due to a corrupt distribution.
[09/17/2026 14:56:53] Unable to update device 192.168.0.210 with Boot Monitor; stopping all further processing of this device!

You’ll want to upgrade the NMC via FTP and not SCP. You will also (NOT) select save logs before starting the upgrade process.
